The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was established in the 2019-2020 academic year and is considered one of the most critical departments in the clinical phase of medical education. The educational process commenced with the collaboration of faculty members from neighboring universities and visiting professors from Canada, under the supervision of the then-Dean of the College. Obstetrics and Gynecology are taught in the third phase (fourth year) of medical education, followed by a two-month internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology during the fifth year at a teaching hospital.
